The Mallabones coffee shop is managed by Zoey and Mica, and is open from Wednesday to Saturday, serving freshly ground coffee, teas and soft drinks, breakfasts and sandwiches. Food is served from 9.30am – 2.15pm.

We are committed to supporting local businesses, and to minimising our carbon footprint, so wherever possible our food and drink is sourced from local suppliers. Our philosophy is to provide simple but delicious home-cooked food, using the very best ingredients. Our soft drinks are from Bradleys near Hewish, a local company who are passionate about making juices and sparkling drinks with 100% natural ingredients – so no added sweeteners, chemicals or artificial nasties.

Our herbal teas are from the Leafy Tea Company in Bath, who are committed to using natural ingredients to create teas which are healthy, eco-friendly and bursting with flavour.

Our cheese and dairy products are supplied by Longman’s Cheese of North Cadbury, our meats by the award-winning Barrett Bros Butchers of Crewkerne, and our bread is from Evershot Village Bakery – a local legend in its own right!

Obviously, Somerset is not renowned for its coffee plantations, so here we have no option but to source from further afield. However, even here our choice is a personal one: we use one of the finest Brazilian beans for our freshly ground coffee, as Chris grew up in Brazil!

Well-behaved dogs are very welcome in the coffee shop, but please keep them on a lead.
